I need help on on 2 integration techniques and why you would choose them. I like trig sub and u-sub.

list a couple(2)of our integration techniques (like trig substitution and u-substitution, but they can be any methods) anddescribe what about the integrand makes you choose each of the techniques you list. For example: if I would list the u-substitution technique as one of my techniques, my description would be something like: When the integrand has a part that is the of composition f(g(x)) of two functions (like sin(x²) ) and the derivative of the inside functions, except possibly the constant) is also in the integrand ( like x for the sin(x²) ), then u-substitution is a good method using u = the inside function (x²for the example).

Then I would need to add a similar description for another technique.
