will allow an end user to enter a CIDR address $($e$.$g$.,1\mathrm{.}1.(1\mathrm{.}1)/(23)$ or $2\mathrm{.}2.(2\mathrm{.}2)/(7))$ and your program will display

the following information $($refer to the Remarks$-$a$)$:

$1.$ The number of different IP addresses $[5$pts$]$

$2.$ The beginning IP address $($or called network$-$id or network$-$address$)$ of the IP address block $[10$pts$]$

a$.$ For example, if your IP address block is $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0$ to $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}255,$ the beginning IP or the first IP will be $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0$

$3.$ The ending IP address $($or called broadcast address$)$ of the IP address block $[10$pts$]$

a$.$ For example, if your IP address block is $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0$ to $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}255,$ the beginning IP or the first IP will be $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}255$

$4.$ The network mask information in dotted$-$decimal format.
