If you explored web hosts and/or did a domain name search, regardless if you actually ended up purchasing anything, please share your experiences with the rest of the class participants. How well did the host try and sell its services? Did you feel it was pushy - trying to get you to buy a lot of additional (and perhaps unneeded) services, or did it only offer what you were after? Were the domain names you searched for available? If the name you wanted was taken, did the search tool offer any alternatives with the name or extension (.net, .us, .org, etc.)?
