Denise does not renovate the homes herself. She hires other people to do the work. One day, she purchased a home, and then contacted Home Renovators, Inc. (HR), a business that specializes in home renovation. A representative from HR came to Denise's house, inspected it, and left a piece of paper behind for Denise that had "ESTIMATE" written on the top. It included a detailed description of all of the work that HR would complete, a price for materials and labor costs, an estimate of when the work would start and end, and a statement that payment would be due when the work was completed. At the end of the document there was sentence that read: "This estimate is good for fifteen days." Is this an offer or an invitation to negotiate?
