I worked with a plastic manufacturing industry i$.$e$.$ Toppan Speciality Films Ltd where HR plays important role. They have Skill Development Program so that employees can learn new things. This program was being done online as well as offline. They have made one online platform for especially for trainings so that employees can learn from anywhere. Basically, they support continuous education and refresh trainings. The objective of this program was to enhance the skills of the employees in order to remain in the competitive market. Now talking about its positive impact on organizational management, employees are being engaged in trainings which would improve their confidence, skills and self$-$efficacy. As a result, it would create positive culture in the company which would improve customer satisfaction, job satisfaction and hence ensuring company$$s success.

In your opinion, what are the most important factors to consider for strategic workforce planning? How might you use these factors in your own current or future job?

$$ Analyze and recognize current workforce: It will help in achieving future business goals and growth of employees.

$$ Identification of skill gaps: By doing this, company identify the gaps of staff which needs to be fulfilled.

$$ Recruiting and Talent Management: Establishment of recruitment and training strategies helps the employees to grow and develop new skills.

$$ Identification of opportunities: Finding ways to contract out business operations to other parties, especially when doing so is less expensive than hiring new employees or upgrading their skills.
