Jane 85 is married to Henry 86. Immigrated to Australia and left her family and friends in UK, feels isolated. Has no friends or family in Australia except for Henry and their surviving adult child. She doesn't make friends easily and feels she doesn't get along with most people. Described as very clever, stubborn and sharp of tongue. Close to family but often argues. Had a healthy, active lifestyle until she developed terminal lung cancer. Experienced intense grief after losing daughter 14 years ago, Battles depression.loss of health and mobility but still has very sharp mind. Lost confidence to leave house. Unable to walk far and needs to carry oxygen. Sits at home all day doing puzzles and watching TV. Husband cares for her but recently started drinking to cope.
