ideal response for the discussion post?

The lessons google learned in the online advertising market didn't apply to the radio market since both of the industry and market have different dynamics and there are no simply universal theory on what exactly works on different advertising. Basically, Google's online platform has a clear feedback system that allows Google to keep track of what a customer does and therefore determine the efficacy of an advertisement; however, when it comes to radio, Google cannot keep track of every listener. For example, It can't tell whether there are 10 or 100 people in a single room listening to the advertisement, which has become a barrier to calculating advertising effectiveness. Radio is moving to satellite and streaming services which means that the end-user can easily be identified because there will be a connection or link between the user and radio station. I do believe there are new opportunities and Google can find success in this market but it will take some time and research so for now they should steer clear of radio altogether as online advertising can bring in more profit than radio advertising. Radio advertising works by relying on the data generated due to their passive actions listening to a program but online advertisement works simply by the consumer through the link, video, or a key search words so it would be exposed way more than radio advertisement. Also, It is impossible to assume that Google will still have such opportunities on the front end and will receive a substantial share of sales and revenues. In terms of data analytics, Google is the best, and it should concentrate on that. According to current scenarios, Google's core product is not radio. So it seems that Google has an opportunity, but it is mostly on the backend and not currently on the front end.
