Identify one Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) and develop a four to five sentence response that describe the OFI using the following guidelines: Sentence # 1 Describe the problem or gap in their approach to addressing a workforce issue or situation. Whats missing? Where is there a concern in how they approach the workforce? Sentence # 2 Describe why the organization should care - the so what including the negative implications of not addressing the OFI and/or the expected benefits of addressing the OFI. Sentences # 3 - 5 Identify resources and inspiring examples that will help the organization understand how the issue might be addressed. Stop just short of being prescriptive, that is, telling them what to do. Provide suggestions, resources, examples, or ideas. Do not use words like will or should. Rather, suggest that, for example, providing additional employee wellness programs may enhance employee satisfaction or engagement. Use words like may or might since cant guarantee outcomes of any intervention. Which of the workforce metrics reported by K & N are you using or might be useful in your organization? Writing a strength and OFI for K & Ns workforce area this week will be good practice in general in identifying strengths and OFIs and will give you practice for writing strengths and OFIs for the final project
