IE 361 Mini Project Points allocated 7 points project The idea is to apply the knowledge gained during the course on a virtual project of your choice. Each group must have approval on their project The number of activities in any project should not be less than 10 Their must be parallel activities during the project The following must be part of the deliverables: Definition of the project as in lecture notes Identifying the main requirements for the Preparing the work breakdown structure for the project (activity, duration, dependency and resources) Constructing the Activity on node diagram including the critical path, ES, EF, LS, LF, Slack) . Constructing the Gantt chart for the project . Find answers to the following questions: 1. The probability of completing the project on time 2. The probability of completing the project before 90% of its duration estimate Use the 4 precedence diagraming techniques for the activities . What should you do if you are asked to complete the project in 75% of its estimated duration (crashing of activities) Apply the resource leveling technique to your project Each group is required to present their project Each group should include 3-4 students
