If I was a first year manager I would implement the business continuity plan. Anything can happen especially early in the life of the business and I think it is important to have a plan in motion in order to hedge forward and keep the hopes of the business alive rather than just giving up after one unsuccessful run. Ironically enough, the same continuity plan that I would choose for my business is the same one that I have implemented in real life as well. Things that I have planned out have almost never worked for me on the first try, but instead of giving up I change my route but never the destination. I think this way of thinking keeps faith alive and teaches you not to be a quitter but to persevere until you reach the levels you want to get to. This is why I believe the continuity plan is vital for a business' success.
