I'm working on an assignment that asks for this:

State the null and alternative hypothesis (in both words and statistical notation) need to address the research question.

My hypothesis is: Juveniles self perceived worth is related in a negative correlation to their anti social behavior. As a juvenile's self work increases, their negative behavior will decrease.

My null hypothesis is: Juvenile self perceived worth and anti social behavior are not related in a significant way.

Could you provide an example for a statistical notation for the above?
