$1.$It is in FlexCon's best interest to maintain its insourcing strategy. Manufacturing the pistons in house keep the quality at the high level they have works so hard to achieve. In addition, The cost to outsource would come with an increase.

$2.$ Flexcon should invest in process optimizations to improve processing time. This will allow to company to keep up with the increased demands for the pistons.

$3.$ FlexCon should reach out to their direct material supplier to optimize on cost reductions. This may include less frequent shipment or bulk purchasing.

$4.$ The company should inquire with the machine manufactures in regard to any replacement programs. This could include low interest charges, trade in$$s$,$ etc...

$5.$ Management should review the floor layout to ensure they are utilizing the factories full space capacity. This could allow for additional machines which is allow for increased output of parts.
