In a food processing unit, specific type of sweet is packed in a tin box. One operator usually packs 300 such tin boxes in a shift of 8 hours. The major steps involved in packing a tin box are as follows: i Take an empty tin box and place it on a weighing machine. (i) Add the sweet in the box till it weighs 1000 gm. (Add/ remove sweet to make up the weight.) (iii)Place the tin box filled with the sweet on a sealing machine and seal an aluminum foil. (iv) Place the tin box on a manual press and pack the lid.
