In a lab environment, follow these steps. If you do not have access to a lab environment, create a virtual machine and follow the instructions here. a. Rename or move one of the program files. Which file did you select? In what folder did you find it? b. Restart your system. Did an error occur? Check in Explorer. Is the file restored? What Windows feature repaired the problem. c. Try other methods of sabotaging the Windows workstation, but carefully record exactly what you did to sabotage the boot. Can you make the boot fail? d. Now recover the Widows system files. List the steps you took to get to the system back to working good.
