In a paragraph, what can we do to correct the employees actions with this scenario, I was informed by another DSP that you had left your group and left another DSP out of ratio per DDA requirements for an extended period of time. Per company policy you need to be eye site of the participants. With in this extended period of time, a behavior happened with a participate with a behavior plan and the other participate in your care was hurt. "In Maryland, the DDA mandates that for adult group homes, the staffing ratio is typically 1 staff member for every 4 individuals (1:4) during the day. This ratio is designed to ensure that individuals receive adequate support and supervision while promoting independence". As a DSP, you are in care of these indicduals you are ensuring their safety and well being
