In elementary case #16, Ms Sanchez is using her 'Good Behavior Cash' as a positive reinforcement tool. She makes the prizes available for purchase public to the class along with how many points each is worth. I think the fact she made one of the most expensive prizes the 'assistant teacher for the week' was pretty clever. Her disbursement of cash however sounds like it could use a little work. She mentioned some days she forgets to hand the cash out, and makes up for it by giving out a lot at times she remembers (like when students were picking up the knocked over projects). Being more systematic with handing out the cash could help the system seem more equitable. Also, conducting class surveys to see what prizes they would like to see could go a long way in getting the students to buy in, as she was saying it is hard to find a a way to reach the fifth grade age group. how could I reply to this discussion in 5 sentences
