In my current role, all we use is Excel and PowerPoint. We mainly use Excel. We use it to find the next best actions for our strategic customers. We pull data from holds, back orders, and discontinued items reports. I wasnt as experienced as I thought in Excel. I never knew how to make a graph, pie chart, total line, pivot tables, or apply filters. When I started my new role, I had to take beginner classes in Excel to learn the basics again. I havent used Excel since high school, which was a long time ago. I am still learning new tips and tricks every day. My favorite one must be the wrap-around text. It makes the spreadsheet look so much cleaner and more organized. The filter method is also excellent, so you can narrow your report to only what you need now. I am so glad this class is teaching me more about Excel. It is not only helping me get my bachelors degree but also helping me potentially move up in the future.
