In my income taxation of trusts notes, I have that "if it is a grantor trust, it is the assets outside the trust which grantor is responsible to use to pay taxes (although if a grantor has the right to each in trust and take things out, the grantor could use those things to help pay too). "
For a non-grantor trust, its trust (entity) that's taxes. Does that mean the things inside the trust pay for the taxes?
