In planning a research study, the researcher should be aware of the philosophice worldview assumptions that they bring to the study, the research design most closely re this worldview, and the research methods used to best put the approach to practice (Cre Creswell 2017). This week's chapter explores four significant worldviews: post-positiv constructivist, pragmatic and transformative. Each indicates how a researcher could po view the world and how that worldview might influence the choice of his or her resear approach (Creswell & Creswell 2017).
