Typically, CSVs $($and spreadsheets in general$)$ contain a wide variety of data. They do not just contain strings. They can contain numbers and dates. However, the function read$\_$csv does not take any of this into consideration. It just returns the contents of the CSV as a table of strings, no matter how it was originally entered into the spreadsheet.

What are the challenges with modifying read$\_$csv to include other types $($numbers$,$ dates$)$ in the table?
