In the ADDIE process, A stands for Analysis. The analysis step

A is listed first but in fact most of the time it should be done once $D($Design$)$ has been completed

B is used to identify specific training needs as well as decide how to measure whether all necessary training has been completed

C is usually quick to do as training needs are usually quite obvious

D can be applied to both organization or department$-$wide needs or those of a specific target audience
