In the EMS and fire service, we do work in small groups, but are they teams as definition. The hospital staff and general nursing are similar as there are a group of nurses on a particular floor but not necessarily a team. The assignment is to discuss teams. Many organizations have gone to teamwork as a management approach. Does this exist in your workplace and if not would it work? How can you develop the best team? Is it management style, is it personnel? Does your personnel want to be managed in this way?
