Read the course text by Watt $(2014),$ chapter $11$ on resource planning and PMBOK$$ Guide $(2017),$ Part $1$ section $3\mathrm{.}15$ and section $3\mathrm{.}16.$ You will also review the article by Tawalbeh et al$.$ on $$Success by efficient resource planning in a project$-$based environment$.$

You'll look at guidelines and methods that will enable you to develop estimates later in this course. You'll also compare estimate accuracy for other examples and projects.

The unit's discussion focuses on how you will use the tools and techniques for estimating activity resources.
