In this assessment, youwill identify a specific challenge that 4ID must address as it trains for and deploys in support of large scale combat operations. The challenge must be from the perspective of a division staff officer / division level issue and related training and/or deploying. Your perspective can be from your current MOS, military specialty, Branch, or your M100 assigned Warfighting Function (WfF) / position. Whichever you are most comfortable with. As you identify the challenge, you must also determine the proximate cause(s) foundational to it, key stakeholders and implications of their position related to it, identify risk and mitigation measures for it, and provide a recommendation(s) to resolve it. The Point Paper also provides you an example of how commanders and their staffs communicate and resolve problems.
