In this assignment, you will actively explore these topics from a practical standpoint.

You will be expected to complete a number of key activities in this assignment:

$1.$ Identify the following:

a$)$ A problem through observation and$/$or secondary research $($e$.$g$.$ articles,

documentaries, etc.$)$

b$)$ An easily accessible target group affected by the problem in $1($a$)$

$2.$ Primary data collection and analysis tasks:

a$)$ Choose suitable data collection strategy$/$strategies and derive appropriate

questions to better understand and validate the problem $1($a$).$

V Derive broad research objectives before you "dive" into creating the

questions

You may include questions to geared towards PACT $($especially the

activities, context, and any technoloqies$),$ to better understand the

problem

b$)$ Deploy the data collection strategy$/$strategies$.$ For the questionnaire method,

targeting at least $15$ persons and for the interview strategy, at least $5$

persons.

Caution: I do not recommend meeting face to face to conduct this activity.

Try to make use of the available technologies to complete this activity.

c$)$ Analyse, discuss and present the findings from the data collected

$3.$ Profile your target group by creating at least $2$ personas

$4.$ Create a storyboard $(4-6$ frames$)$ to capture the problem setting, sequence of

steps that would lead users to an ideal solution, and the ultimate end result that

should be attained through the solution. Include a brief narration of each frame.

$5.$ Put together a Report which details activities $(1-4$ above$).$ Ensure that you provide:

A description of the problem and how it was identified, justifications for the

strategy or strategies employed, description of the target group, objectives

of the data collection instrument, discussion of findings uncovered, personas

and storyboard. Note: Place your sample instrument $($questions$)$ and raw data

in the Appendix
