In this assignment, you will develop a "story" in Tableau that will persuade the reader to take action based on the visualizations of multiple datasets.

Specifically, you are required to do the following:

Find at least two complementary datasets. An example of complimentary datasets could be a dataset of Taxi trips, combined with a dataset on city demographics. Another example would be to combine climate data with economic indicators for different countries. The idea is to find interesting patterns and connections.

Merge the datasets together and do any data cleaning or transformations you find necessary. You may use Tableau for this or some other tools like Python pandas or R.

Explore the data and then develop a hypothesis about any interesting patterns you discover. This hypothesis should be something that would persuade decision makers to take actions.

Develop a Tableau "story" that visually proves your hypothesis and persuades the reader for action.

You will submit the following (one per group):

The developed Tableau packaged workbook file, and

A report summarizing your entire process

The report should contain the following:

Description of the datasets

Any processing you did on the datasets and the tools you used

How you explored the data and how did you get your hypothesis

Conclusions from the data.

How you used the theories and best practices of visualization that were discussed in class in making your visual story.

You are required to use IEEE format for styling the report, except use single column layout. Look at the styling guidelines.
