You will write a two page single-spaced memo. The memo should be addressed to your instructor fictitiously as your manager at one of the companies you hope to work for someday (have fun with that but pick one). The imaginary situation is that everyone reporting to your instructor is undertaking this activity to help the manager better understand the team.
The memo should include:
- an introductory sentence describing the memo purpose and content
- a sentence or two describing personality theory
- a description of your results from the Big 5 survey and/or the Crystal Survey
- a few sentences describing your interpretation of the Big 5 results and how they relate to you
- a few sentences on each of the other personality elements explored in OER text Chapter 2.3:
- affect;
- self monitoring;
- proactive personality;
- self efficacy;
- locus of control;
a concluding sentence describing the memo purpose and content
