In this assignment, you will prepare data flow

In this assignment, you will prepare data flow diagrams to document the flow of data through a system's processes for the to-be information system of your selected company. After gathering information by studying all relevant documentation and through interviews and group sessions with employees, you are now ready to construct initial, logical process models. Using lucidchart, Data Flow Model Diagram (Gane-Sarson Symbol), first construct a context data flow diagram (DFD) to illustrate a system's interfaces with its environment. Secondly, draw a level O DFD to show the overall major processes of the system. Your level O DFD should contain at least 5 processes, which represent high-level of processes. Be sure to follow the naming convention of processes, data flows, external agents, and data stores. Also, make sure your DFDs do not contain any syntax and/or semantic errors and the diagrams should be balanced (conservation of inputs and outputs to a process when the process is decomposed to a lower level). Save the diagrams as "your team name Assignment 4A and 4B." All assignments should be submitted via email to the instructor. Time submitted will be used for timely submission. For the cover page, you have an option of submitting it either via EMAIL or AT THE START OF THE CLASS. The cover includes project name, team name, assignment number, pledge that the work submitted was solely done by your team members, and signatures of team members who participated and contributed to the assignment. Grading guidelines: * On time completion * Professionalism (overall neatness, correct language and spelling, following directions for the cover page, etc.) * A Context Data Flow Diagram Include all important input / output data flows to (or from) the system correct naming of data flows, external agents, and a process identify major external agents A Level 0 Data Flow Diagram identify major processes and reasonableness of each process correct naming of process flow diagram elements identify major data stores identify all input/output data flows to (or from) each process balanced with the context diagram no black hole, miracle, gray hole, or other syntax errors In this assignment, you will prepare data flow diagrams to document the flow of data through a system's processes for the to-be information system of your selected company.
