You may either: Identify one innovation that has evolved over time to meet the need. For example, show the evolution of an innovation over time, such as, a household appliance, an airplane, telecommunications, timepiece, etc.
OR Identify several different innovations that have been created over time to address the need. For example, the social need of aerial transportation has been met by balloons, airplanes, etc. The social need of communication has been met by the telegraph, telephone, e-mail, etc. On your visual representation, project into the future to show either where you see the innovation(s) going or how your social need will be met in the future. Your visual representation can be in the form of a graph, chart, timeline, or another appropriate method. All topics must be approved by your instructor prior to beginning this project.
