In this assignment your group will take on the role of a freight forwarder and customs broker contracted to work on behalf of a Canadian Importer $($Trillium Wholesale$).$ Your services will be needed to assist Trillium Wholesale in producing any of the documentation required for their next big shipment. They will also need your expertise to ensure that the import is cost effective and that all CBSA import rules and regulations are being followed.

After some initial contact with your client you discover that they are new to international trade and are in great need of your services. They have the potential to be a large customer in the future, of course it will depend on how well you meet their needs for this initial import

To date you have received the following information:

$$ They are purchasing from Trump Industries in New York, which is a distributor that sources a wide selection of products from USA and around the world.

$$ All of the products will ship complete from the Trump Industries warehouse in New York

$$ To save transit time Trillium Wholesale wants to directly send the shipment to their customer Eastern College in Saint Johns, New Brunswick

$$ The cost of the goods are in US dollars, and the freight charges will be prepaid by Trump Ind.

You know there will be more information that you will need in order to properly complete the importing process. You will need to make a quick list and inquire further, bear in mind that Trillium Wholesale is not familiar with this process and will need your assistance on all of the appropriate documentation.

ASSIGNMENT STEPS

$2.$ Within your group you must pick one of the following $6$ sections of the Customs Tariff Schedule for further research.$($see below$)$

Different groups cannot choose the same section therefore sections will be chosen on a first come first serve basis.
