In this course, you have learnt about identity and access management. In this project, you will apply all the concepts that you have learnt so far in this program. This project is split into three parts:
- The first part tests your understanding about users and groups
- The second part tests your understanding about authentication and authorization
- The third part tests your ability to use the concept of Zero Trust
Part 1: A new project team is carved out in an organization to automate HR activities. This team works with the HR team to automate systems that are not done manually by the HR. To start with, four resources are hired for this project. Two software developers, one software tester and one Business Analyst. You as an IAM administrator create four users and create/add them to the appropriate groups by assigning them the right permissions.
Part 2: Add authentication and share the passwords to the users on their date of joining the organization.
Part 3: Verify if the Zero trust concept is taken into consideration when creating the users, groups, authentication and when assigning the permissions.
Deliverables:
Four users are created in AWS and are assigned to appropriate groups with the right permissions using the concept of Zero Trust.
Share the deliverables by taking a screenshot as an evidence of the users, groups and associated policies.
