Question:
In this discussion, I am taking advantage of this time to introduce you to Ted.com -- a website that professes to offer "Riveting Talks by Remarkable People...". If you've never seen them before, be careful...they can become addictive. They are short videos (anywhere from 3 to about 40 minutes) on any number of topics -- business and non-business -- that help change the way we think. You'll understand once you've seen one. I'd like you to watch this 18-minute Ted Talk about innovation and inspiration.
Here's the link: https://www.ted.com/talks/simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action?referrer=playlist-the_most_popular_talks_of_all&autoplay=true
Once you've watched it, let us know what you think of Ted Talks, in general, and what you think of the ideas found in this video (do you agree or disagree, and what makes you feel that way?) Has it changed the way you think about marketing at all?
Find an example of a company you think follows this strategy other than the ones mentioned in the video. Or one that does not, and let us know about your reasoning.
