In this lesson, you have been provided resources to learn about effective "Design Principles" $($LO$3$: Step $2)$ and "Design Considerations" $($LO$3$: Step $3).$ In addition to reading the textbook and following the content provided through LO$3,$ additional required readings are necessary. These are made available within the content presented $($links provided on in Step $2$ or copies posted in LO$3$ Synchronous Class Materials$).$

For this graded assignment you will take on the role of a trainer with responsibility to design and develop a computer$-$based training $($CBT$)$ program for the lifeguards. The training focuses on the new water quality testing standards, practices and procedures being implemented. This CBT program will complement both off$-$the$-$job and on$-$the$-$job training for the lifeguards.

Based on what you learn in this Learning Outcome, you will consider the inclusion of both design principles and design considerations for an effective CBT delivery. With what you have learned, you will share your insights with your peers, and you will engage with them to gain their insights. To accomplish this, you will communicate your ideas in an initial post and then you will engage with your peers on their ideas.
