In your discussion groups, select a business type within the industry you are either working in or want to know more about (e.g. construction, automotive, health care) and think about an ERP architecture from the examples cited in this unit (On-premise, Cloud-based, Hybrid, Mobile ERP, etc.) Outline which architecture you believe would be the most beneficial to the business. Think about size of the business, customers, geographical distribution, type of data (client private data, sensitive data, etc.) and other aspects of the business. This means the group will have to conduct a bit of research, as well as collect the data and prepare a profile to share with other groups. You will share your profile verbally, but you should bring talking points (think bulleted lists) to help you. Each group member should contribute at least one idea of their own. As a group, you are responsible for selecting your 2-3 examples that you can discuss with the rest of the class. Be sure you are able to discuss not only how your examples work, but also why you believe they are effective examples!
