In your Final Course Project, you will act as an Organizational Psychologist who has been hired by the Chief Executive Officer of a small accounting firm to help resolve recent internal challenges. The organization has been struggling to meet its financial goals for the past year and is therefore suffering from financial loss. This has negatively impacted the organizational morale, job satisfaction and ultimately organizational commitment as dysfunctional turnover is occurring as employees are leaving out of fear of a future job closure. As the hired Organizational Psychologist, your job is to help the organization overcome their challenges.
For this project, you may develop a video presentation, a PowerPoint Presentation, or a written paper that introduces the organizational changes that you recommend and how those changes will lead to a more effective organization. You should minimally address the following:
Identify at least applicable theories introduced in this course that apply to the scenario. For example, identify a theory that will help senior leaders understand why the there is a lack of job satisfaction within the organization.
