Instructions

1. For your initial post on Wednesday, research two articles regarding a recent employment, tort or injury claim in the sports industry. (Both articles should focus on the same issue.) The situation does not have to be an actual lawsuit, but must be a legal issue, and your sources must provide enough information for an analysis based on the legal concepts from your course material for this week.

• Summarize the facts and analyze the legal issues involved.
• Explain your opinion of the circumstances and your recommendations to the parties involved, either to resolve the situation, or to prevent a similar situation from occurring again.
• Remember to support your opinions with facts and the law, not vague conjecture. The best arguments are supported by solid evidence. Provide links for the articles you’ve chosen to discuss.
