Write a function that takes two 2D arrays as inputs, and returns the sum of the two given matrices. Do not use MATLAB in-built operator + for the required matrix sum.

Hint: Use a nested for loop to trace the given matrices element-wise, add each element of one matrix to the corresponding element of the other matrix, and store the resultant values in a new matrix.

Individual Assessment Activity 4

Write a function that takes two 2D arrays as inputs, and returns matrix multiplication in the order the matrices are entered. Do not use MATLAB in-built operator * for the required matrix multiplication.

Your function should check to make sure that the required matrix multiplication is possible (i.e. the inner dimensions of the two input matrices must match), and if not you should display an error message.
