INFO20172 IT Project Management using PMP

Develop a schedule for the project to replace Access Sheridan with Sheridan Central.

Assign 4 resources: John, Amit, Julia and Enrique.

The project starts on Oct 1 and is approximately 2 months long, with all work finished before Dec 1. Assume that in Week 4 of the project the team will be working longer hours than usual due to long meetings held with users and tight deadlines. Make assumptions on how many hours/day/task each team member would work.

Use the 5 process groups and the processes below to construct your schedule.

Initiating: identify stakeholders; develop PC.

Planning: gather requirements, develop Scope Statement, develop WBS, develop a schedule, develop a budget, develop a risk management plan.

Execution: create Access Sheridan (AS) backup, connect AS with Sheridan Central (SC), transfer AS data to SC (consisting of module 1, module 2, module 3), deploy services, testing (consisting of services + connectivity), go live.

M&C: monitor & control project work, perform integrated change control.
