Section A

Task 1.

Select two economic/business related mass media articles (Newspapers/Internet). (3 marks for each article)

In order to maintain the currency of economic/business events, ensure that you select only articles published between August and September in 2020 (Australia or other countries).

Each selected article must contain the details of media and the date of publication.

Task 2.

List two relevant economic key words for each article. (1 mark for each key word)

Task 3.

Indicate which article (i.e. Article 1 or 2) you would use for further analysis in Section B.

Section B

Task 1.

Summarise the key message portrayed in your chosen article. (15 marks)

Task 2.

Apply any relevant economic concepts, theories, and/or diagrams (Note: Consider only the lecture materials from week 8 to week 11) to articulate the event presented in the article. (50 marks)

Task 3.

Discuss the implications of the event on the economy or for appropriate strategic policy decision making. Support your arguments with 3 references. (25 marks)
