Install a Windows Virtual Machine from the Windows ISO image

Links to an external site., or you can find any image of a Windows evaluation copy to build your VM$.$ Name the VM following the naming convention, your last name$\_$semester year, for example, Messi$\_$Fall$2023$ or Mbappe$\_$Spring$23.$

Limit the Maximum disc size $($storage$)$ to $20$ GB$.$ When asked for a product key $($xxxxx $-$ xxxxx$...),$ skip 'Product Key Number' and fill in 'Full Name.$\text{'}$ Password is optional. Proceed to the next step by clicking Next.

If you want to use a custom built Windows VM $-$ please let your instructor know, and ensure to name the machine following the naming convention $($your last name$\_$semester year$)$ and reduce the storage size to less than $20$ GB$.$

ITN$260$ is a prerequisite of this course. You should be familiar with the virtual machine's creation. If you have never installed a Windows VM on your system, follow the directions here. It is based on Virtual Box, but you can use any hypervisor.
