Instructions: Complete a high-level project procurement plan and make vs. buy analysis for the design and build of a carport, fence, and gate.

Scenario

Acting as Mr. or Ms. Winnipeg, the Client, you would like to obtain proposals to design and build a Carport. This includes installing a fence with a gate as well as a concrete pad at the rear of his house.

For this assignment, you need to submit:

1. The specifications of your carport, pad, fence, and gate.

2. A procurement plan: Identify the project needs, categorizing those that can best be, or must be, met by acquiring products or services vs. those that you are going to do on your own. (Must be complete and concise enough to utilize in a Request for Proposal and Supplier Selection process). Develop a project schedule, include all activities, yours and your sub contractors.

3. A make vs buy analysis on some portion, or all of, your carport, fence and gate procurement - at least one make vs. buy analysis is required for this assignment.
