Design a dual-purpose communication programming cable that can be used to program a DCU either serially with RS232 or with a CAN adaptor to a CAN port of DCU.
NOTE: This cable is dual use but only one part of it can be used at one time!
Locate in the reference material and research diagrams for a DCU Serial programming cable and a CAN programming cable.
Draw a combined diagram for a single cable that could be used both for Serial and CAN DCU programming.
Label connectors and pin numbers on each connector.
For pins that serve different purposes in 2 cables, decide how and where you would split the wire.
Insert a picture of your complete diagram below for instructor evaluation.
