business marketing. Look for helpful information that would allow a business to add

more value to the customers in its target market. It may be helpful to think about a

business that you would like to start and own. Pick one or two of the following areas to

write about for this assignment:

Helpful ways to conduct marketing research on the wants and needs of your

potential customers

Strategies and tactics for getting new customers

Ways to build and maintain good relationships with your customers

Promotional strategies and tactics that you can use to inform your customers

and potential customers about your products or services

Strategies and tactics for effectively pricing and your products or services

Or consider other areas of marketing that you would like to learn more about

I would encourage you to look for articles in publications like Fast Company, Inc.,

Entrepreneur, Forbes and other business publications. You may also use books, blog

posts, podcast interviews and online video interviews. The assignment is designed to

give you flexibility. Your paper should be 2 3 pages long and highlight the key points

that you learned.

Please organize your paper using Headings based on the topics of the articles you

selected for this assignment. Also, include a list of the articles (with links) that you used

to complete this assignment.

The goal for this assignment is to help you learn more about small business marketing

principles, strategies and tactics.

professional is not the same as being formal, but dont use being informal as an excuse

for being unprofessional. I am not grading the mechanics (Grammar, Spelling,

Punctuation, Etc.) of your assignment, but you will lose points if you have errors that are

distracting or problems that interfere with comprehending your writing.
