The goal is to create a pie chart of current liabilities and to embed the Excel chart in a Word document.

1 Using the current liabilities items below, create a list in an order you deem appropriate on the next tab.

2 Create a pie chart from the listing (Insert / 2-D Pie Chart). Hint: Note that clicking anywhere in the chart opens up two new tabs on the Ribbon: (1) Chart Design, and (2) Format.

3 Update the Chart Title (click on the title to edit).

4 Add appropriate Data Labels (Chart Design / Chart Layouts / Add Chart Element / Data Labels)

5 Open up a blank Word document, and type in the following text at the top: "Please refer to the following chart of current liabilities."

6 In Excel, right click on the chart you have created and select Copy.

7 In Word, paste the chart below the text and center the chart on the page.
