For this activity, you will be divided into pairs. You will work with your partner (following the instructions below). You have been provided with a private space to work with your partner. Once complete, share your findings in the Current Events Public discussion so your classmates can review and you will be required individually to respond to one current events case that you find interesting and would like to further the discussion on.

1. Scan reputable/reliable sources (news articles, magazines, etc.) for a current event or string of events currently taking place or planned for the near future that has a direct link to the OB concepts presented in Chapter(s) 5 through 15.

2. Summarize the event, providing the important details.

3. Identify a clear connection between the event/events to your knowledge of OB Theory. Ensure you provide a definition of the OB concept(s) to provide clear context for the reader.

4. Identify and describe factors you believe are influencing the situation.

5. Describe the potential impact this event/events may have on individuals, organizations, or both.

6. Identify and describe potential responses/solutions to what is occurring.
