INSTRUCTIONS: For your final presentation you will need to make a 3-5 minute speech about your favorite play, musical, television show or movie (The real world, bad girls club, jersey shore) Please use the questions below to help you make your presentation and be sure to read carefully through the Format and Expectations guidelines before beginning work on this. Once done, you will record yourself delivering your presentation, upload your video to YouTube and then submit the link here in the provided text box. Questions for Presentation: The name of the play, musical, television show or film Brief synopsis of the plot or a description of your favorite season Who are the main characters and what actors play those roles, include a brief description of the main characters What is one of the main themes of the show? What are examples within the story that help us understand the theme? Why do you like this show? What do they do well and why do you recommend it? You may include other details besides these, but please be sure to answer all of these prompts to get full credit. FORMAT AND EXPECTATIONS: Please film yourself standing in a well lit area and looking directly at your camera as you deliver your presentation. You may use notecards or notes on your computer but try to be familiar enough with your speech that you do not need to read the whole time. Your speech should be no less than 3 minutes and no more than 5 minutes long. If you go over or under by more than 20 seconds, you will have points deducted. Your speech should be well organized and rehearsed. Introduce yourself at the beginning and tell us what you will be talking about. Then begin the body of your speech where you will answer the questions which I have posed or others that you wish to share with us. Close your speech out with a conclusion where you tie all of your ideas together and thank your audience for listening. You will be graded on: how thoroughly you answered all the questions in the prompt, how well prepared you were, how well you followed the format and expectations as laid out here and how organized your presentation was.
