Covid-19 has had many impacts on workplaces. There were disruptions and major changes with respect to how regular work is carried out. Now, however, workplaces are slowly returning to more in-person work. However, some things have changed forever. Consider your current or more recent place of employment. What aspects of work will remain the same and what will change? Develop a training program for one process that has changed forever. A major environmental change due to the Covid-19 pandemic has been the disruption of global supply chains. Imagine you are the OD consultant for an automotive manufacturing firm. What training intervention would you consider to ensure it remains competitive and meets the organizations strategic goals. Link the Strategy, Tactics and Objectives for the training effort. Discuss with concrete examples how the HR and OD perspectives are interlinked and how they support firm strategy?
