Instructions: Please create work breakdown

Instructions: Please create work breakdown structure for the following project: You are preparing to build wooden flower boxes around the railings of your deck. You've never done this before. You'll need to design them, buy the materials, prepare and do the work, and install them. Consider anything else you might have to do, as well. Details: There is no one "right" way to do this, but there are deficient ways. Be sure your WBS: Uses nouns as the work packages (lowest level) - this requires some thinking! For example, if you were creating a work package for buying wood, you would say: o "Wood purchased" o Don't say "Purchase wood." Is broken down to at least 3 levels (not every task will go to three or more levels, but some should) and remember, the project is at the top (for this assignment, the project doesn't need a level number) Is numbered (1.0, 2.0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2 etc) as needed - but don't stress over numbering: get the structure correct (most important). Put the hours for each level right on the chart/list (estimate best you can), and roll them up to the next level, and finally give a total hours figure at the project level. See images below for formatting. FAQS: Answered . You may take liberty with what you assume the flower boxes will look like the materials used, where you buy the materials, and how you will do the work. Everyone's WBS will look different. Make your own estimates - just be reasonable. Everyone's estimates will probably be different. Remember to put them on the WBS. One page is fine (if it fits); otherwise go to 2 pages. You shouldn't need more. Black and white is fine (no design or colors needed). If using Excel, indenting will help with readability (see layout image below) Layout: You may create it in PowerPoint or Word so that it looks like this: ABC Project (SAMPLE) MGT Software Education -xx hours First Level 2nd Level 1.0 MGT Development 2.0 WEB Training 3.0 HELP System 4.0 Guide Cards - 176 5.0 Training 1.1 Course Objectives 2.1 Web Site Structure 3.1 HELP System Structure 4.1 Topics -40 5.1 Ongoing Training 1.2 MGT Course Exercises 2.2 MGT Online Exercises 3.2 MGT Structure 4.2 MGT Write Up - 80 5.2 MGT New Users 1.3 MGT Course Book 2.3 MGT Security 3.3 MGT Links to Web training 4.3 MGT Design - 40 5.3 MGT Syllabus 1.4 MGT User Guide 2.4 MGT FAQS 4.4 MGT Printed Cards - 16 3rd Level below dotted line Place hours of estimated effort on lowest level work packages.
