Instructions The business simulation will be a fun and interactive part of the course. It will apply what you learn in the book to a practical business application. I encourage you to take your time as you work through the simulation and take journal notes for each quarter. Join one of the teams but you are working on your own. This means that you will be a team of one. This allows you to work through the simulation at your own pace. One thing to note with this setup, you will not be able to hire any employees but this will not keep you from working through all parts of the simulation. Once you have completed your simulation, write a minimum of a 750 word summary of your simulation results, and what led to them. Please reference your journal notes but do not simply copy and paste from them. Your journal entries will help you remember important details for your report but you will have to summarize and synthesize your journal notes to create a well-formed paper. As you prepare your report, please know that not all businesses will succeed. A failed business does not equate to a failing grade for this assignment. Your grade is based on your ability to justify your decisions, describe your actions, and explain your results in your summary report. For example, you should write about the reasons that you did or did not produce a profit and what actions led to these results. Moreover, you may want to explain your reasons for investments in research and development, your decision to take out a loan, and then how your actions affected the financial stability of the business. Your report should include specific examples of your actions and outcomes. Finally, in your summary report, consider the decisions you implemented and that you believe would have had different outcomes in the real-world. State those decisions and explain the reasons that the real-world outcomes would have been different
