STEPS ON USING L$3$ SWITCH:

$1.$ Create the VLANs on the MLS$1$ switch

$2.$ Enable VTP Server mode switch MLS$1.$

Set your VTP password to cisco

$3.$ Enable VTP Client mode switches SW$1$ and SW$2.$

Set your VTP domain name to your first name and index number. E$.$g$.$ jamal$\_202244545.$

Set your VTP password to cisco

$4.$ Enable VLAN trunking on the appropriate ports of Switches SW$1$ and SW$2.$

$5.$ Configure InterVlan routing on MLS$1$

STEPS ON USING ROUTER ON A STICK:

$1.$ Create the VLANs on the MLS$1$ switch

$2.$ Enable VTP Server mode switch MLS$1.$

$5.$ Configure InterVlan routing on Router R$2$ using sub$-$interface of the physical interface G$0/0.$

STEPS ON JOINING THE TWO TOPOLOGIES TO FORM INTERNETWORKS

$1.$ Use the Serial DCE cable to connect from R$1$ to R$2.$

$2.$ Configure serial clock rate of $64000$ kbps on the appropriate serial interfaces

$3.$ Configure the IP addresses using the subnet $192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}100\mathrm{.}0/24$

$4.$ Enable RIPv$2$ routing protocol on the devices to enable packets to move across the inter network.
